Accounting Assistant

Location: Pleasant Grove, UT

Rate: $18 to $23 per hour depending on experience.

Keysy, Inc. is an online car buying and financing platform that offers a 100% online car-buying experience, allowing customers to browse, build deals, and secure financing without visiting a dealership. Keysy is looking for a dynamic and organized individual to support their accounting and office management needs.

Position Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting process for Keysy. Keysy is an online retail solution offered to pre-owned vehicle dealerships providing an omni-channel car shopping experience meeting the expectations of the next generation of car buyers.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day automobile sales accounting, including billing, A/R, A/P, G/L
• Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports
• Maintain and improve upon a robust accounting system for this online used car dealership
• Assist in preparation of forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows
• Provide proactive / unsolicited consultation and interpretation of complex financial and operational matters
• Collaborate with the CFO to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysis
• Provide support for various administrative needs and responsibilities

Experiences and Skill Set

• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position, knowledge of used car sales accounting is a plus
• Demonstrate expertise in QuickBooks Online
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines
