About The Role As an
Area Manager , you’ll be the driving force behind the success of your assigned accounts. You’ll lead, coach, and support staff while ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence. This role is vital — you’ll help us maintain strong customer relationships and grow our business.
You must be comfortable being
on call and available on weekends as needed.
Key Responsibilities - Lead daily huddles + weekly meetings
- Build strong customer relationships
- Track customer interactions in CRM software
- Supervise and support reporting supervisors
- Ensure high-quality cleaning and customer satisfaction
- Conduct inspections and audits
- Manage quarterly reviews
- Hire, train, develop, and coach team members
- Ensure proper staffing + supply levels at all locations
- Partner with HR to fill job openings
- Hold team members accountable when needed
- Identify employees ready for promotion or additional hours
- Manage labor budgets and meet labor goals
- Improve cleaning processes for efficiency
- Maintain safety compliance
- Oversee call-off coverage
- Communicate important updates to staff
- Handle customer complaints promptly
- Ensure all team objectives are completed
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Director of Operations
Skills & Qualifications - Must be 18+
- Reliable transportation required
- Able to work independently and be dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication + listening skills
- Leadership or janitorial experience preferred but not required — we’ll train you!
Working Conditions - Occasional exposure to heights, fumes, or airborne particles
- Some environments can be loud
- Must be comfortable with varied building conditions
