Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Assembler to provide support to our Defense Electronic Systems team in our Ridgecrest, CA facility.
Job Summary:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables and guided missile subassembly / complete missile assembly. Works from diagrams and drawings and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test production according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Requirements:
• Must have your High School Diploma or GED
• 5-8 years of Assembly experience in Aerospace/Military industry
• Read and understand complex blueprints and assembly procedures
• Experience with cables and wires
• Strong math skills
• Able to obtain security clearance
