Job Description

We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Property Manager to support our residential property in the South End area of Boston, MA. Reporting to the Property Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include:

· Assisting with leasing activities, including showing units to potential tenants and processing applications.

· Performing initial certifications and recertifications for residents under the Project-Based Section 8 program.

· Responding to tenant inquiries and handling any issues promptly and professionally.

· Coordinating and overseeing maintenance and repair work, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

· Maintaining accurate records of resident communications, leases, and property maintenance.

· Assisting in preparing and managing property budgets and financial reports.

· Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and property policies.

· Fostering a positive community atmosphere and enhancing shareholder satisfaction through professional interaction with residents and members of the ownership board. 

· Other administrative duties to support the Property Manager, as needed.

The work hours are 9:00-5:00, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate with excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong customer service and communication skills will also be key to success in this role.

· Previous experience with recertifications and administration of the Project-Based Section 8 program is required.

· Certifications such as the COS and CPO would be a plus.

· Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management software is required; experience with Yardi is preferred.
