Our client is seeking a skilled Batch Migration Developer to join a major financial institution . This role focuses on migrating existing Scoop jobs to AWS EMR, Spark, Python, and Shell Scripting while supporting upgrades to the latest EMR version and migrating Java applications to the most recent Java version .
The position is within an established team in the Financial Institution (FI) applications division , specifically focusing on performance analytics applications . This team plays a crucial role in calculating customers' investment performance , primarily catering to institutional clients. The team consists of 50 associates and operates with a mature technology setup.
