Our client, one of the largest Pharmaceutical companies in USA is looking for Bioinformatics Scientist- III (Senior) to work ONSITE at Cambridge, MA.
Job Title: Bioinformatics Scientist III
Duration: 23 Month Contract
Location: Onsite role - 320 Bent St 4th Floor, Cambridge, MA 02141
TO BE SHORTLISTED AND QUALIFIED (You must have below): - We would like to have someone with at least five years of experience after PHD.
- Our team specifically is required to be on site.
- Looking for multi omics experience.
- Looking for both bulk and single cell experience.
- Some spatial transcriptomics would be nice.
- So Olink, some proteomics experience and genotype data experience.
- Candidate will be working on the External datasets.
- Nonlocal is Ok if they are able to relocate at the own expense and can relocate before the NEO START DATE.
- Please add publication on the resume.
Need to have:
- Looking at external data sets and bringing the data sets together and cleaning the data up
- Need to have the fundamental understanding of the data sets
- Drawing conclusion of the data sets
- Data integration
- Be able to document their work and be able to show how they did their work
Key Skills: - Required expertise with multi-omics data analysis and integration (e.g., RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq.
- Transcriptomics analysis.
- Proficiency in R and Bash.
- High-performance computing (HPC) systems and AWS Cloud Computing (e.g., IAM, S3 buckets).
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology or a related field.
- A proven track record of over 5 years in multi-omics analysis.
- Fundamental understanding of statistical methods and multi-omics data analysis and integration (e.g., RNA-Seq, single-cell RNA-Seq, genotype, spatial transcriptomics, OLINK).
- Proficiency in R, Python, and Bash, with the ability to establish best practices for reproducible data analyses.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) systems and AWS Cloud Computing (e.g., IAM, S3 buckets).
- A collaborative and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, capable of managing multiple objectives in a dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in processing and analyzing real-world data.
- Familiarity with spatial transcriptomics analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical and population genetics principles
Will be rejected if you have below:
- Some candidates with more wet lab experience than computational experience.
- Some candidates were very into computer science and html. Kind of software engineering more than bioinformatics.
- Candidate do not have 5 years of experience after PHD.
