Job Summary: El Jen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Business Office Assistant responsible for performing various administrative tasks to support the daily operations of the business office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential Functions:
Assisting Business Office Manager (BOM) with any tasks.
Answering and directing phone calls
Greeting and assisting visitors
Processing and distributing mail and packages
Managing office supplies and inventory
Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
Preparing and processing invoices and purchase orders
Assisting with payroll and employee benefits administration
Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records
Assisting with special projects and events as needed
Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
General computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
Working knowledge of office machines (copier, fax, phone systems, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Good organizational and communication skills.
Ability to relate positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other facility staff.
Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Demonstrates basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
