Description :
Work directly with the public and department law enforcement to provide security of the park area for all visitors. Duties may include assisting department managers and conservation officers in the enforcement of park rules and regulations. Assist in the selling of entrance licenses, camping permits, operating a point-of-sale system, and providing information to the public. Monitoring entrance license and camping permits for compliance. Assist with the cleaning of buildings and grounds.

General Requirements :
Interest in park management, public safety, and law enforcement is helpful. Ability to work independently, manage time well, and work in a variety of weather conditions out of doors. Uniforms are provided and employees must comply with uniform dress code. Valid driver's license required.

Please note this is a temporary or seasonal, non-benefited position, exempt from civil service.
