About the Role:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare administration? We're seeking a talented Remote Medical Coder and Biller to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely medical billing.

Key Responsibilities:

Review patient claims for accuracy and completeness.
Assign and sequence medical codes appropriately according to industry regulations.
Ensure compliance with medical coding guidelines and policies.
Analyze patient charts and documents for verification and accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to clarify information and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare monthly reports based on physician data.
Implement effective procedures and evaluation methods to ensure accurate results.
Assist in analyzing medical malpractice cases.
Qualifications:

Associate degree in business, finance, health administration, or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of experience in a primary care clinic setting is desirable.
Certified medical coder with a recognized certification (e.g., CPC, CRC, CCS, or CCS-P).
Expertise in ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT, Category II, and E/M coding.
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (e.g., eCW, EPIC).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make informed decisions based on analysis and critical thinking.
