As a Chemist I at Honeywell, you will employ critical thinking and use your knowledge of chemistry fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
You will work under direct supervision and alongside talented chemists to develop and optimize analytical test methods, conduct experiments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development of Honeywell's next generation of products. You will be a part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of our methods and programs.
You will report directly to our Chemist Supervisor and work out of our Spokane, WA location (please note this is not a remote or hybrid role). In this role, you will impact on the development of innovative solutions and contribute to the success of our projects and programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Run chemical experiments
• Perform chemistry tests
• Develop and validate quality control test methodologies
• Provide technical expertise in analytical chemistry and instrument operation and maintenance
• Provide high-quality and timely analysis
• Generate continuous improvement ideas
• Ensure compliance to the Honeywell Spokane Quality Management System

The annual base salary range for this position is $59800 - $65000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science.
• 6+ years of experience working in a laboratory environment, which may combine educational experience plus working experience.
