Overview:

Join our growing team at MG Moving Services as a Commercial Mover in Sterling, Virginia ! We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist in moving, packing, and unpacking office furniture, equipment, and supplies. We offer comprehensive training and skill development opportunities in a collaborative work environment that emphasizes safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving, Packing, and Unpacking: Safely and efficiently move, pack, and unpack commercial furniture, electronics, and equipment with care to prevent damage.
  • Communication: Work closely with team members, clients, and move coordinators to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Follow Instructions: Follow guidance from Team Leaders and report any pre-existing damage to items immediately.
  • Adaptability: Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Punctuality and Flexibility: Maintain reliable attendance and adhere to flexible work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must pass a background check , drug screen , and driving record check .
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to operate an electric lift, hand truck, and pallet jack is preferred, but not required.
  • Must be available for variable hours , including weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Wage : $18 to $35+ per hour, depending on experience.
