You know how to adapt, connect, and deliver a message that sticks. ** *What You'll Do (When Needed):* * Facilitate in-person leadership development sessions that are dynamic, inclusive, and relevant to diverse adult learners. * Collaborate with our People Development team to align content and approach with company goals. * Flex your facilitation style based on room dynamics, learner needs, and program objectives. * Encourage reflection, dialogue, and real-world application to support long-term growth. *What We're Looking For:* * *A Skilled Communicator*who can bring energy, clarity, and purpose to every session. * *A Flexible Facilitator*who adapts easily to different topics, audiences, and environments. * *A Team Player*who aligns with our values and works well with other facilitators. * *An Empathetic Educator*who creates safe spaces and supports learners with care. * *A Creative Thinker*who keeps learning engaging and relevant. * *A Reliable Pro*who shows up prepared and delivers consistently great sessions. ** *Position Details:* * *Type:*Independent Contractor (1099) * *Duration:*6-12 months, with potential to extend. * *Schedule: As-needed; typically 6-10 sessions per year.* * *Session Format:*Each engagement is a full-week commitment (includes travel and facilitation). * *Travel:*Required, with costs covered per standard contractor agreement. *_Primary Responsibilities_* Partner with the People Development team to: * Learn and deliver pre-developed leadership development content (e.g., emotional intelligence, change management, communication, feedback, people development)*in partnership with a full-time employee facilitator*. * *Co-facilitate*classroom and virtual sessions using a variety of instructional techniques, including role-plays, simulations, group discussions, team exercises, videos, and interactive lectures. * Promote understanding and practical application to ensure learners achieve their objectives * Create a safe, supportive and engaging environment for participants, encouraging participation and cooperation * Help identify learning needs and gaps in the classroom and among participants * Adjust program content as needed to address any specific challenges, manage conflicts and resolve issues that may arise during discussions. * Ensure alignment with program objectives * Build a rapport and provide support to employees to enhance their learning experience and professional growth * Manage on-site logistics and organize in-house or offsite activities to ensure smooth execution of training events * Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of training content and delivery methods * Learn and internalize our company vision, story, and priorities to effectively weave these messages into the learning environment and build alignment with company goals *_Qualifications_* * Must be willing and able to travel throughout North America from Monday to Friday * At least 5-7 years of experience creating, delivering, and facilitating both classroom and virtual training and development programs for*adult learners* * Excellent facilitation and presentation skills * Strong interpersonal communication skills * Ability to assess training needs and appropriate learning solutions * Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and especially PowerPoint * Ability to engage people with authenticity, humor, and great listening skills * Good judgement, strong integrity, passion for coaching, ability to quickly adapt to change, and insatiable curiosity * Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical people *Compensation:*This role is eligible for an hourly rate of $80 - $120 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience, open to daily rates or other arrangements for qualified candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis *Retirement*: Temporary employees who work a minimum of 25 hours a week, are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match. * * *About Weyerhaeuser * We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place.
