About the role Counterintuity is an award-winning marketing agency serving nonprofits. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented part-time copywriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll write compelling copy for websites, email, social, print, and more. You’ll help shape brand messaging, support campaign goals, and craft content that drives action.
This is a great fit for someone with 2+ years of experience in copywriting or content marketing who’s eager to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative team.
What you’ll do Content creation (70%)
- Write high-impact copy for websites, email, social media, and more
- Craft both short- and long-form content that’s engaging and action-oriented
- Conduct occasional onsite video interviews to generate client content
- Ensure all copy aligns with brand tone, goals, and audience preferences
- Incorporate SEO best practices to improve search performance
Collaboration and editing (20%)
- Edit and refine copy for clarity, grammar, and consistency
- Partner with designers and strategists to ensure cohesive messaging
- Participate in content planning and brainstorming sessions
Project administration and internal collaboration (10%)
- Participate in regular staff meetings
- Stay current on industry trends and audience behavior
- Review/analyze content performance to inform future work
- Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve internal systems and workflows
What we’re looking for Experience and skills - 2+ years of experience in copywriting or content generation and marketing
- Strong writing and editing skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
- Familiarity with SEO principles and digital content best practices
- Comfortable writing across a variety of formats and adapting tone to fit the audience and platform
- Experience with performance-based content (e.g., ads, conversion-focused pages)

Who you’ll work with You’ll report to the director of client services and collaborate closely with our creative and digital marketing teams.
Pay range $22-$28/hr
