We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Architect to join our growing data team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions within our cloud-based environment, primarily focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Designing and implementing robust and scalable data warehouse and data lake solutions on GCP utilizing services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Data Fusion, Dataproc, etc.
Creating and maintaining data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and distribution of data from various sources.
Developing and enforcing data governance policies, data quality standards, and data security protocols.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data models.
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture, especially within the GCP ecosystem.
Mentoring and guide junior data team members on data architecture principles and GCP services.
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5 or more years of experience working as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
Proven experience designing and implementing data solutions on GCP, including deep familiarity with services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and ETL/ELT processes.
Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer and Cloud Architect Certifications
Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
Expertise in SQL and experience with at least one programming language like Python or Java.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
