Job Description

Position Summary:

As an Entry-Level Carpenter with Bespoke Fence, you will play an integral role in our fence installation team, working directly on site to assist with assembling and installing fences. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and a desire to develop their skills in carpentry and construction. You will receive hands-on training to help you understand and perform essential tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fence Installation Support:

• Assist lead carpenters in assembling and installing a variety of fence types, including wood, vinyl, and metal.
• Work collaboratively on-site to ensure timely and accurate installation according to client specifications.

1. Material Preparation and Handling:

• Learn and apply techniques for measuring, cutting, and shaping materials using hand and power tools.
• Organize and prepare materials for installation, ensuring all necessary components are on-site and ready for use.

1. Quality Assurance and Detail Orientation:

• Follow detailed instructions to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Inspect work for accuracy and completeness, making adjustments as directed to ensure professional finish.

1. Safety and Site Cleanliness:

• Adhere to safety guidelines at all times, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist in the clean-up of materials, tools, and debris after each job.

1. Continuous Learning and Skill Development:

• Participate actively in on-the-job training to develop carpentry skills and knowledge of fence installation techniques.
• Demonstrate initiative by asking questions and seeking to understand more about the carpentry trade.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills and Traits:
• No previous carpentry experience is required; training will be provided.
• Strong interest in developing carpentry skills and a career in construction.
• Ability to follow directions precisely and work effectively in a team setting.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Preferred Experience:
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Previous experience in construction, woodworking, or similar trade.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and handle materials.
• Must be able to lift up to 125 pounds and work in outdoor environments.
