The City of Patterson’s Public Works Department is seeking one (1) full-time Water Operator I, II, or III position. Duties include, but are not limited: inspecting and repairing water meters and water service lines; monitoring and recording meter readings of water consumption levels; testing backflow protection devices and performing related adjustments as needed; collecting and transporting water samples for lab analysis; conducting bacteriological testing and monitoring chlorine levels; coordinating and monitoring construction and improvement projects; inventory and ordering parts; programing pump stations.
