Functional Tester

Description:

The Functional Tester will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex testing strategies and systems to support the company's business needs.

Responsibilities include designing and developing high-quality test plans and strategies for software solutions using Java and Spring Boot, utilizing Operational Decision Manager (ODM) for business rules and decision management test solutions, working on Integrated Eligibility systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

The role involves ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing, identifying and correcting bottlenecks, developing and executing automated test scripts, utilizing AWS cloud services for test environments, working with Oracle databases to design and optimize test solutions, providing technical leadership, mentoring junior testers, participating in code reviews, facilitating the creation of test scenarios from user stories, managing defect resolution, and reporting on testing status.

Requirements:

Strong background in Integrated Eligibility systems, preferably with experience on the client's system, including exposure to modules such as Worker Portal.

Solid understanding of driver frameworks, session management, and API integration.

Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Operational Decision Manager (ODM).

Familiarity with AWS cloud services and Oracle databases.

Good communication skills and the ability to lead and mentor junior testers.

Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.

Collaborative team player.
