We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rapidly growing acute care hospital in Great Falls, MT. This full-time, hospital-employed role offers a structured 7-on/7-off daytime schedule and the opportunity to work alongside a seasoned multidisciplinary care team in a state-of-the-art facility. Key Responsibilities
Manage hospitalized adult patients in collaboration with hospitalist physicians and specialists
Perform comprehensive assessments, daily rounds, and develop/implement treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Perform procedures as credentialed and as appropriate for scope of practice
Coordinate care with nursing staff, specialists, and support services
Accurately document clinical findings and treatment plans in the EMR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives as part of the hospitalist team

36 inpatient beds with a 10-bed open ICU and 2 cath lab suites
Hospitalist daily census averages 15 patients/day
1:5 nursing ratio based on patient acuity
Supported by on-site specialists, dedicated nocturnists, and Telemed Pulmonary/Critical Care
Modern diagnostic and procedural capabilities, including 5 ORs, 4 OR surgery center suites, and 8-bed ED staffed by experienced clinicians

Requirements:
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Montana licensure (or ability to obtain)
Minimum of 2–3 years of direct hospitalist experience required
Comfortable managing a diverse inpatient population
Procedure experience preferred (e.g., central lines, intubation, thoracentesis)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team collaboration skills
