Job Description

Salary: $86,600 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

  • We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
  • For Level 3: A Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 9 years of experience is required.
  • For Level 4: A Master's Degree with 6 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience; OR an Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience; OR a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12 years of experience is required.
  • A Security CE or higher is essential, and maintaining the necessary certification will be a condition of continued employment.
  • A current DOD Secret level security clearance (or higher) is needed for consideration. Candidates must also have the ability to obtain, and maintain, a DOD Top Secret level clearance, as well as access to Special Programs, which will be a condition of employment.
  • We require experience with configuring, administering, and maintaining Red Hat or other Linux systems, along with experience managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG environments.
  • Candidates should have experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing HPC systems.
Responsibilities:
  • As a member of our team, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Monitoring and reporting on HPC system health and metrics.
  • Identifying performance bottlenecks and modifying system-wide parameters to enhance performance while evaluating the effects of those changes.
  • Conducting HPC technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk evaluation, and supportability and effectiveness analyses.
  • Managing the HPC system life cycle, which covers conception, design, installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Assisting software developers and engineers with the installation, debugging, and optimization of their software in the HPC environment.
  • Supporting technical users running analyses on HPC systems, collaborating with Security to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies.
  • Scanning, patching, and hardening the computing environment to meet customer requirements.
  • Collecting, auditing, and storing necessary log data for the system, along with developing artifacts needed to support assessment and authorization of the systems.
