**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an Independent Testing Specialist in Independent Testing & Validation (IT&V) as part of Corporate Risk. The Independent Testing & Validation team is responsible for the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities across the Enterprise in alignment with the Risk Management Framework and ensuring effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies. The Enterprise Functions Testing & Validation team is seeking an Independent Testing Specialist to support testing activities for Human Resources, Public Affairs, Legal, and Diverse Segments, Representation, & Inclusion businesses. The Independent Testing Specialist will be accountable for developing and executing independent control testing over operational and compliance risks. Testing review activities are performed, and results are documented in templates and systems of record based on applicable policies, standards, and guidance documentation. The testing process may involve conducting and documenting walk-throughs of controls, developing test scripts and determining the appropriate artifacts for sampling to assess the design and operating effectiveness of the control(s). The right candidate will be responsible for evaluations of controls to ensure identification of control deficiencies, providing insight into emerging risks while operating in a very dynamic manner, and connecting and building relationships with key partners. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, problem solving, communication/writing skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the business group or Enterprise. **In this role, you will:** + Participate in less complex development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework + Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies within Independent Testing + Support and implement less complex initiatives with low to moderate risk and exercise independent judgment to guide risk reporting, escalation, and resolution + Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in risk management framework and the risk and control environment + Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners and management **Required Qualifications:** + 2+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 2+ year(s) of experience with data analysis and documentation + Experience in Human Resources, Public Affairs, Diverse Segments, Representation, & Inclusion, and/or Legal businesses + Risk Management experience + Control Testing experience + Public Accounting experience + Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets; ability to retrieve data from various information systems. + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to research trends and analyze data **Job Expectations:** + This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. + This position offers a hybrid work schedule. + Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening **Location / Annual Base Compensation Range** + Charlotte, North Carolina - $63,600 - $113,000 + Irving, Texas - $63,600 - $113,000 + Minneapolis, Minnesota - $63,600 - $113,000 + Saint Louis, Missouri - $63,600 - $113,000 + Tempe, Arizona - $63,600 - $113,000 + West Des Moines, Iowa - $63,600 - $113,000 **Pay Range** Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
