Description Position Summary: The Instructional Designer position is responsible for the planning and development of Swiss American CDMO’s learning and development program with a heavy emphasis on designing multimedia training material. Responsibilities also include facilitation of required compliance training, along with administration of Swiss American’s learning management system (LMS) and all training files and data.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities - Generate multimedia training content for Swiss American CDMO
- Serve as administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Build a partnership with department leaders to design and produce comprehensive training modules for positions company-wide
- Coordinate communication with all departments to schedule, promote, and deploy required training
- Maintain all in-house training facilities and equipment
- Proficient in operating professional video and photography equipment, including:
- DSLR and mirrorless cameras (e.g., Canon R series).
- Teleprompters, studio lighting, microphones, and audio mixers.
- Video stabilization equipment such as tripods and gimbals.
- Wireless microphone systems.
- Research and recommend new training material and/or methods
- Assist with new hire Orientation/Onboarding training
- Scan and file training records if necessary
- Maintain all physical training documentation files
- Ensure employees complete annual GMP and GDP training
- Evaluate and analyze all training material and measure effectiveness
- Respond to requests for training documentation as required for facility audits
- Support Human Resources as needed
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications Essential Skills and Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to apply principles of instructional design
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound decision-making and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Articulate,OBS)
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (with Paycom a plus)
- Experience with database software is a plus
