Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives, performance gaps, and the most effective delivery methods.
Design and develop 508-compliant instructional materials, including course outlines, storyboards, video scripts, job aids, quick reference sheets, and other supporting documents.
Create interactive training materials in various formats, including printable job aids, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), microlearning, videos, and eLearning courses.
Develop SCORM-compliant eLearning courses and interactive webinars using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
Design and administer assessments, including quizzes, simulations, and exercises, to measure learner comprehension and progress.
Analyze assessment data to evaluate instructional effectiveness and recommend improvements based on insights.
Track and document the progress of instructional design projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
Collaborate closely with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure training materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
Regularly review and update training content to keep it current with industry standards and best practices.
Stay up to date with trends in instructional design, adult learning theory, and emerging training technologies.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Strong expertise in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
Experience developing SCORM-compliant courses and working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Knowledge of 508-compliance requirements and best practices for creating accessible learning materials.
Ability to design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including course outlines, job aids, video scripts, and assessments.
Understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM.
Proven ability to manage projects effectively, meet deadlines, and collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
Experience with Workday Learning Management System (LMS) for training development and delivery.
Background in large-scale ERP transitions to Workday solutions.
Knowledge of gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement.
Experience with multimedia content creation, including graphics, animations, and interactive elements using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
