Role and Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain automated tests that provide functional, regression and integration test coverage for micro services that deals with orders processing with external partner integrations
• Work with Samsung eCommerce Partners to perform integration tests
• Report and track issues identified on automation runs
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define use cases to be tested for best possible customer journey flows
• Work on building tools and scripts to validate information sent to and received from partner systems
• Co-ordinate with geographically dispersed teams across time zones
• Conduct integration testing between UI Clients and APIs with documented technical scenarios/flows

Background & Competencies Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• 8+ years of QA experience on backend services, micro-services architecture and customer journey flows
• 4+ years of Automation Experience on micro-services or web applications
• Good coding skills in one of the languages - Javascript, Java, Python
• Experience in Ecommerce domain’s purchase journey
• Understanding of automation/testing with stub and mocked data from integrated systems
• Hands-on experience with one or more relational databases and SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Agile Testing Quadrants and building

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $178,000 and $204,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
