**How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice:**
As the Manager, Project Management, you will act as the strategic owner of end-to-end project execution for New Product Development (NPD) and other critical projects to support the business as needed. You will drive operational excellence and accountability across the organization, leading high-impact cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and aligned with company goals. This role is critical to scaling our project management engine and enhancing operational performance.
**As a Manager, Project Management, a typical day might include a mix of the following core responsibilities:**
**Strategic Project & Timeline Ownership**
+ Act as the accountable leader for all aspects of project delivery from post-concept through commercialization
+ Serve as PM for a selection of high visibility projects, including tech transfers, NPD, reformulations, and other projects as needed
+ Support Stage Gate process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
+ Provide executive-level visibility into timelines, risks, roadblocks and key decisions
+ Serve as business lead for reporting on project status and issues
**Financial Stewardship & Budget Oversight**
+ Oversee project budgets and deliver accurate monthly expense forecasts for development costs
+ Partner with Finance on budget-to-actuals analysis and identify optimization opportunities
**Cross-Functional & Vendor Leadership**
+ Lead collaboration across R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, Quality, Supply Planning, and Contract Manufacturing to ensure efficient execution and timely issue resolution
+ Own vendor performance from a project management perspective, including participation in quarterly business reviews and escalation management
+ Influence upstream and downstream partners to maintain accountability for deliverables, quality, and timing
**Team Development & Leadership**
+ Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing project management team grounded in ownership, accountability, and continuous learning
+ Champion a culture of transparency, collaboration, and operational discipline across teams and stakeholders
**Reporting & Risk Management**
+ Oversee project reporting including status updates, risk registers, and executive dashboards
+ Serve as the primary escalation point for the PM team, driving swift cross-functional solutions to protect timelines, budgets, and quality
+ Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact project outcomes or launch timing
**Process Improvement & Operational Excellence**
+ Lead strategic initiatives to streamline, automate, and scale project management processes
+ Develop and implement methodologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance efficiency and engagement
+ Champion continuous improvement and a culture of agility to enable a lean, high-performance team
**The Details:**
+ Location: Local candidates are preferred to accommodate a hybrid work schedule of three days per week in the Seattle office.
+ Hours: Standard Pacific Time business hours
+ Physical requirements: Ability to handle both sitting and screen time for long periods
+ Travel requirements: 1-2 times/year
**What you'll bring to the table:**
+ PMP Certification
+ 8+ years of progressive project management experience with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives (preferably in CPG)
+ 3+ years of people management experience leading project managers, coordinators, or cross-functional teams
+ Proven success driving projects from concept to launch with accountability for scope, timeline, and budget
+ Strong influencing and leadership skills across all organizational levels
+ Exceptional attention to detail and sound decision-making under pressure
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Smartsheet or similar platforms
+ A relentlessly positive outlook, growth mindset, and collaborative spirit that fosters teamwork and creative problem solving

Paula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
