Marketing and Special Events Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute strategic campaigns that raise awareness of Arc Broward’s programs, services, and fundraising initiatives
  • Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, print collateral, and digital platforms, with a strong eye for design and content creation
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute special events including the Miss Arc Broward Pageant, InspHired Luncheon, outreach events, and donor appreciation gatherings
  • Support public relations and media outreach to enhance visibility
  • Engage community partners and volunteers to support events, outreach, and ongoing campaigns
  • Assist with coordination of volunteer events
  • Track marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, events, or community engagement
  • Strong skills in social media strategy and platforms, content writing, and basic design (Canva preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online marketing tools
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends for events
