We are looking for a highly motivated Model Integration Trainee to support our healthcare integration and device connectivity projects. This role is ideal for candidates who want to build a career in system integration, HL7-based workflows, and healthcare interoperability. You will work closely with senior integration engineers and learn how integration engines, APIs, and data exchange protocols operate in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities 1. Integration Development SupportAssist in building and testing basic integration workflows using HL7 standards.
Learn and support integration engine activities (Rhapsody, IIB, Cloverleaf, Ensemble, Corepoint, Mirth, etc.).
Help develop simple data mappings and message transformations under guidance.
Participate in requirement discussions with stakeholders.
Document integration needs and convert them into structured notes or diagrams.
Monitor interfaces and report errors or system alerts to senior engineers.
Assist in debugging message issues, connectivity errors, and workflow failures.
Prepare documentation for integration flows, troubleshooting steps, and environment setup.
Maintain logs and update interface configuration records.
Work with internal IT teams, healthcare system owners, and vendors.
Support integration testing and validation activities.
Basic understanding of healthcare data exchange concepts (HL7, FHIR, or similar).
Interest in learning integration engines like Rhapsody, Mirth, Cloverleaf, Corepoint, or IIB.
Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (Java, Python, Perl, etc.) is helpful.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn healthcare interoperability and device integration.
Exposure to XML, JSON, or simple message structures.
Basic understanding of web services (REST/SOAP APIs).
Prior project, internship, or academic work related to integration or data exchange.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field (or currently pursuing)
