Job Description This position involves a combination of making deliveries driving a delivery straight truck as well as working in the warehouse picking orders, packing orders, and preparing for shipping, operating a forklift, and performing other tasks and duties as assigned. Forklift experience is preferred but we will also provide training. This is a daytime, Monday - Friday position with minimal weekend work so employees can spend weekend leisure time with friends and family.
Qualifications - The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum six-months experience driving a straight truck.
- Valid license with a clean driving record and be able to maintain a driver medical card.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods of time and carry objects weighing up to 70lbs.
- Must be able to complete forklift certification. Dexter provides on-the-job training including safety training, forklift training and company policy and procedure training.
