Job Title : Sales Development Lead - Sports Recovery & Performance Tech
Location : Hybrid (United States, based in Colorado, Florida or Texas)
Travel : 20%
Summary :
We’re looking for a Sales Development Lead who thrives in an early-stage environment. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build the sales motion from the ground up. You’ll own top-of-funnel outreach, drive qualified meetings, and lead early sales conversations with physical therapy clinics, sports performance studios, and recovery-focused providers.
This is not a “plug and play” role—we’re seeking someone who’s excited to create structure where there is none, test messaging, and iterate quickly. You’ll work closely with the founders to shape go-to-market strategy, refine the pitch, and accelerate adoption.
Responsibilities :
- Own outbound prospecting efforts across email, phone, social, and in-person channels
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads in the sports recovery and PT space
- Conduct high-quality discovery calls and product overviews
- Develop outreach strategies tailored to our buyer personas (clinic owners, performance directors, rehab specialists)
- Track and report on key outreach metrics and lead conversion
- Collaborate with marketing on campaign development and messaging
- Provide feedback to the product team based on conversations with prospects
- Select and implement a CRM tool for the team
Qualifications :
- 2–5 years of experience in a sales development, business development, or early-stage AE role
- Strong preference for experience selling into physical therapy, sports medicine, or health/wellness clinics
- Experience with CRM tools
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
- Proven ability to generate meetings from cold outreach
- Self-starter mentality—comfortable navigating ambiguity and building process from scratch
- Passion for sports, performance, or movement science is a plus
