Looking  for a Sr SQL DB  Developer  resource for a migration project from one data center to another. Someone who was a SQL Server DBA in the past, knows SQL Development and understands (Cloud/Data Center) Networking. We are seeking a skilled Cloud DBA and Data Migration Expert with 10+ years of experience to manage and optimize cloud-based database services, specifically within AWS environments. The candidate will be responsible for database performance, security, replication, and data migration processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and high availability .

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in SQL Server Developer roles.
• Extensive experience in Large Data sets  migration projects from one data center to another
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) and cloud environments AWS EC2
• Proficiency with  Any cloud Preferably AWS database services: Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Redshift.
• Expertise in database migration using tools like AWS DMS and scripting with AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with database security measures, including encryption and access control.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery solutions, point-in-time recovery, and high-availability configurations.
• 5 years of experience in database administration and cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with data migration, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present solutions effectively.
• Ability to provide on-call support and respond promptly to critical issues.
