Role: Tableau developer

Design develop and publish interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.
Implement drilldowns dynamic visualizations and performanceoptimized views.
Data Analysis & Preparation:
Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure the data is clean reliable and wellstructured.
Perform data wrangling and manipulation to prepare data for visualization.
Requirements Gathering:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide actionable insights by interpreting data trends and patterns.
Performance Optimization:
Ensure efficient dashboard loading and minimal lag through query optimization.
Finetune Tableau Server performance and address potential bottlenecks.
Collaboration:
Partner with crossfunctional teams to integrate Tableau solutions with other tools and platforms.
Train endusers and support them in using Tableau effectively.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct testing to validate data accuracy and dashboard functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in Tableau Desktop Tableau Server and Tableau Prep.
Strong SQL skills for data querying and integration.
Familiarity with data warehouses ETL processes and relational databases (e.g. Snowflake Redshift or BigQuery).
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling is advantageous.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Statistics or a related field.
13 years of experience as a Tableau Developer
Tableau Certification (e.g. Tableau Desktop Specialist Certified Associate) is a bonus.
