- Staff includes day, second, and night shift sonographers
- Patient ratios: 8-10 in an 8 hour shift
- Equipment: Siemens Acuson S200 & GE Logiq E10
- EMR: Allscripts
- PACS: InteleRad
- Patient Population: Pediatrics to Geriatrics
- Hiring Profile:
- Required skills: Knowledge of anatomy and pathology, basic scanning skills, clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Preferred skills: Additional certifications (RVT, OB-GYN, AB), experience in the OR and with ultrasound procedures
- Typical procedures: Thoras, paras, FNAs, soft tissue masses or lymph node BXs, liver & renal BXs, drainages, thrombin injections, etc
- Personality fit: Hard working, willing to learn, motivated, fast learner, considerate, compassionate, team player, willing to teach, good communication skills, adheres to department policies
- Required Certifications: BLS, RDMS, NH MIRT Licensure
- Floating Areas: Opportunities for extra shifts within the department
- Dress Code: Clean scrubs or radiology themed t-shirts
- Guidelines/Policies: Adherence to attendance and PTO request policies, adherence to exam protocols
- Weekends and On-call: Weekends covered by weekend position staff; no call for temporary staff.
