Job Description

Salary: $130,000 - 175,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree
• An active DoD SECRET clearance
• Proficiency in cybersecurity and computer networking is highly desirable, along with a basic competency in MS Office and technical writing.

Responsibilities:

• As a Cybersecurity Engineer, I will have the following key responsibilities:
• Deliver Engineering Support Services (ESS) to NAVSEA PEO IWS Cyber Leads, both off-site in contractor spaces and on-site at the Washington Navy Yard.
• Design and coordinate the implementation of cybersecurity solutions for surface combat systems.
• Plan, research, and develop security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between the Program Office and internal/external stakeholders.
• Manage the development and integration of cyber capabilities into surface warfare combat systems.
• Conduct independent technical assessments of cybersecurity evaluation results and test reports to guide system upgrade recommendations.
• Prepare briefs on cybersecurity, system development, emerging cyber issues, and schedule risks to communicate critical information to Navy Leadership (Civilian, Military, etc.).
• Facilitate working groups on cyber activities within the combat system.
• Provide regular updates and present statuses to Navy Leadership, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and other relevant parties.
