Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position with opportunities to excel in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining organized records and supporting efficient document management processes. Responsibilities: - Organize and maintain physical files to ensure easy access and retrieval. - Scan and digitize paper documents for electronic record-keeping. - Handle filing of documents into designated file boxes and storage systems. - Ensure accurate labeling and categorization of files for seamless organization. - Assist in managing electronic filing systems and updating records as needed. - Conduct regular audits to verify the completeness and accuracy of file records. - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent document management practices. - Retrieve and distribute requested files to appropriate personnel promptly. - Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive documents. - Support additional administrative tasks related to file management as required. Requirements - Proficiency in paper filing and document organization. - Experience with scanning and digitizing physical documents. - Familiarity with electronic filing systems and their management. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling records. - Ability to lift and manage file boxes safely. - Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information. - Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred.
