Rate Range: $450-$500 per day Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our Rates / Credit Trading Platform .
- This role will involve working on high-performance, scalable trading solutions, integrating vendor platforms, and ensuring seamless API connectivity to support our trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize the Rates / Credit Trading platform using Java, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design and implement robust APIs for seamless integration with vendor trading platforms such as ION, Bloomberg, Murex, Client, TransFICC, or Broadway .
- Work with messaging systems like Kafka or Solace to ensure efficient and low-latency data processing.
- Develop and maintain database solutions using Sybase or Oracle , ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with traders, quants, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced financial environment.
- Optimize system performance by debugging, profiling, and tuning Java applications for low-latency trading.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and security measures within the trading platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java (8+ years of experience preferred).
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka or Solace) for real-time data processing.
- Proficiency in relational databases (Sybase or Oracle) and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with API development and integration with vendor platforms such as ION, Bloomberg, Murex, Client, TransFICC, or Broadway.
- Knowledge of financial markets and trading systems, particularly in Rates and Credit Trading.
- Experience with multi-threaded programming, high-performance computing, and low-latency systems.
- Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment.
