This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior UX/UI Product Designer in the United States.

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Product Designer to lead the design of accessible and impactful digital products in a mission-driven, user-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape product experiences from ideation through high-fidelity design and user testing, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that improve usability, accessibility, and engagement. You will influence the design direction across multiple products, conduct user research, and translate insights into actionable, elegant solutions. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexible collaboration while maintaining a high standard of design quality. Your work will directly impact users, ensuring equitable access to technology and meaningful experiences across platforms.

Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design processes including research, ideation, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop and refine innovative product initiatives.
  • Conduct user research independently and with researchers to inform design decisions and validate product concepts.
  • Create mockups and high-fidelity prototypes that ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across products.
  • Maintain and evolve the company’s design system, advocating for best practices and standards organization-wide.
  • Translate user insights and data into actionable product features and enhancements.
  • Stay current with design trends, accessibility standards, and inclusive design methodologies, integrating them into products.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI, user research, and prototyping with a proven record of launching digital products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, UX, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience conducting usability testing and translating insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining and contributing to a comprehensive design system.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and iterative design approaches.

Preferred:

  • Experience designing for educational technology or accessibility-focused products.
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Prior experience in mission-driven organizations or non-profits.
